Dyness batteries — cheaper Pylontech, thinner service
By Fotovol Team·Updated 26 April 2026
Short answer
Dyness, China, founded in 2017. LFP batteries on the Pylontech model (low-voltage stackable). Priced 10–15% under Pylontech, similar quality per independent testing. Present in Romania via distributors who chase the lowest Mid-bracket price. 10-year warranty, but the service network is thinner — verify where defective modules are shipped.
When to pick it
Dyness is an option when you want "cheaper Pylontech":
- Tight Mid budget — 10–15% gap vs Pylontech matters on a 10+ kWh system.
- Distributor with Dyness history — a few Romanian distributors back Dyness seriously; verify their years of experience.
- Simple inverter + 5–10 kWh storage — for a complex hybrid, stick with Pylontech / BYD.
Watch-outs
- Dyness on a non-listed inverter — Dyness's official list is narrower than Pylontech's. Demand your exact model on the list.
- "Identical-to-Pylontech-at-half-price" promises — doesn't exist. Real gap is 10–15%, not 50%.
- Dyness B3 and B4.5 modules generation 2020 — demand the 2023+ generation (PowerCube X1) for current features.
