About Fotovol

Fotovol is the public directory of solar panel companies and ANRE-authorised electricians in Romania. Our mission is to make the switch to solar simpler and more transparent — starting from official data, not from advertising.

Why Fotovol

The Romanian solar market is growing fast but full of noise — glossy brochures, vague prices, installers without public certifications. Fotovol gathers all relevant companies in one place, marks them officially verified (AFM Casa Verde, ANRE certification), tells you how many companies operate in your county, and lets you request free quotes with a single form.

Data sources

Company data comes from official public sources, refreshed periodically:

• AFM (Environmental Fund Administration) — the Casa Verde Photovoltaic programme. We verify whether the company is validated in the subsidy programme.
• ANRE (National Energy Regulatory Authority) — the registry of authorised electricians and installers (grades I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, IVB).
• ONRC (National Trade Register Office) — for CUI (tax ID) and registered address.
